79K^ RESOLUTION NO.79 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE FIXING THE TIME FOR A PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF A STREET TO 3E HEARD. WHEREAS, the abutting property owners of a portion of A Street between Cascade Avenue and Columbia Avenue, in the City of Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington,described as follows, to-wit: A portion of Government Lot 7, Section 22, Town ship 19 North,Range 28 E.W.M.,Grant County, Washington,described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the North westerly boundary line and the Southwesterly boundary line of Block 41, City of Moses Lake (formerly Neppel),Grant County,Washington, according to the Plat thereof filed October 15, 1912, running thence South 53°42,00"West on the Southeasterly boundary line of Broadway, a street in Moses Lake,extended a distance of 1,520 feet;running thence South 36o28f00n East a distance of 740 feet;running thence South 53o42'00n West a distance of 228,51 feet; thence running South 00°27,00"West a distance of 35.92 feet to the true point of beginning;continuing thence South 00°27f00n West a distance of 24.38 feet; thence running South 89°55,35"East a dis tance of 18,30 feet; thence running North 36°28,00" West a distance of 30.77 feet to the true point of beginning;containing 0.005 acres more or less. have petitioned the City of Moses Lake to vacate said portion of A Street and in consideration thereof John A.Foster has deeded a portion of his real estate to the City of Moses Lake in order that the intersection of Columbia Avenue, 4th Avenue and A Street may be straightened, said description being on that certain Quit Claim Deed executed by John A. Foster, as Grantor, to the City of Moses Lake as Grantee, said deed being dated August 29,1952. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, AS FOLLOWS: The City Council of the City of Moses Lake hereby fixes the time of 8:00 ofclock P.M.,P.S.T.,Tuesday,October 14,1952, at the City Hall in the City of Moses Lake,where said petition hereinbefore described shall be heard and determined and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to post three (3)written - 1 - ^ notices in three of the most public places in said City, and a like notice in a conspicuous place on said portion of A Street to be vacated,which notice shall contain a statement that a Petition has been filed to vacate the street which shall be described in said notice together with a statement of the time and place fixed for the hearing of the Petition.
