RESOLUTION NO.^*
A RESOLUTION of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,
declaring the intention of the City Council
to improve certain avenues and drives by the
construction and Installation of bituminous
pavement,combined concrete curbs and gutters
and concrete sidewalks,and by doing all other
work as may be necessary in connection there
with and incidental thereto and fixing a time and
date for the hearing thereon.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Moses
Lake,Washington,as follows:
Section 1.That it is the intention of the Council
of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,to order the improvement
of the following described avenues and drives by the construc
tion and installation of bituminous pavement,combined concrete
curbs and gutters,concrete sidewalks and by doing all other work
as may be necessary in connection therewith and incidental thereto:
Hill Avenue from State Highway to Juniper Drive;
Cherry Avenue from Juniper Drive through the second
lot past Hawthorne Drive;
Hawthorne Drive from Cherry Avenue to Park Avenue;
Ironwood Drive from Juniper Drive to Park Avenue;
Juniper Drive from Hill Avenue to Park Avenue;
Keifer Drive from Olive Avenue to Park Avenue;
Olive Avenue from State Highway to Hawthorne Drive.
Section 2,All persons who may desire to object thereto
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a
meeting of the City Council to be held in thevCl-C.y IIAll in the £V.k„&)

City of Moses Lake,Washington,at ^o'clock JJ .Mo on the
J)day of May,1953,which time and place is hereby fixed
for hearing of matters relating to said proposed improvements and
all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment
of said improvements,,
Section 3.Gray &Osborne,consulting engineers of
Yakima,Washington,employed by the city in the matter of this
improvement,are hereby directed to submit to the Council at or
prior to the date fixed for such hearing,a statement of the es
timated costs and expenses of such improvements,a statement of
the proportionate amount thereof v/hich should be borne by the
property within the proposed assessment district, a statement
of the aggregate assessed and actual valuation of all the real
estate exclusive of improvements within said proposed district
according to the valuation last placed upon it for the purposes
of general taxation,a statement of the amount of previously
levied and outstanding local improvement district assessments
against any of said property,together with diagram or print show
ing thereon the lots,tracts,parcels of land and other property
which will be specifically benefited by said improvements,and
the estimated amount of the cost and expenses of such improvements
to be borne by each lot,tract,parcel of land or other property.
Section k*The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of said hearing by publication of this resolution in at
least two consecutive issues of the official city newspaper,
with the date of the first publication to be at least fifteen days

prior to the date of said hearing,and to mail or cause to be
mailed a notice of such hearing setting forth the nature of the
proposed improvements,the total estimated cost, the estimated
benefits to the particular lot,tract or parcel of land,and the
time and date of said hearing;each such notice shall be mailed
at least fifteen days before the date of said hearing to each
owner or reputed owner of any lot,tract,parcel of land or other
property specially benefited by said improvements at the address
last shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer**

Washington,and approved by its Mayor this J.j day of
April,1953.
