93RESOLUTION No.93
WHEREAS,The City Council of Moses Lake,Washington desires to
establish by resolution the standards for their own guidance in the
issuance of building permits in unplatted areas,and
WHEREAS,such issuance is permitted by Ordinance No.20lj.,but
the said ordinance does not establish the standards nor define the
requirements,
NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake that the following standards and regulations are
hereby adopted by the City Council,as prerequisites for the issuance
of all building and construction permits in unplatted areas.
a.Streets,alleys and easements shall be clearly mapped,
at a scale of 1"to 100',monumented and dedicated as
required.There shall also be filed with the City a
detailed plot plan showing the proposed structure (s),
approaches,driveways,parking,drainage,signs and
all other facilities planned for construction.
b.All utilities needed to serve adequately the proposed
use and as required by Ordinance No.197>in the opinion
of the city engineer,shall be constructed or bonded for,
as provided for in Ordinance No.197*the subdivision
ordinance.
c.The park fee shall be paid.This fee shall be $.001i{.
per square foot of land in the building lot or lots.
d.No release from the requirement of platting shall be
granted in residential areas,except in extreme hard
ship cases,and by specific action of the city council
acting upon the recommendation of the planning
commission.
AND FURTHER,be it resolved,that the City Council may delegate
authority for the issuance of permits in unplatted areas,provided that
no permit shall be issued until and unless all above requirements have
been completed.
