103*a RESOLUTION -^/O&S WHEREAS, as the result of a Resolution passed by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake on June 22,195^4-*projects Wash-li5205 and Wash- Vlj.51j.02 have been extended to June 30,1955*and WHEREAS, it is now found that if removal on that date occurrs it will mean hardship to a number of families in the City of Moses Lake, and WHEREAS, a study has been made which indicates there is only a limited amount of rental housing in the City and rents are prohibitive for servicemen and others of low and medium income in the community, and WHEREAS, there is no practical supply of rental units available and most of the new housing to be erected this year is exclusively for Boeing personnel to be stationed in the City of Moses Lake; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby request that the said public housing projects be retained for housing use at least one year,and that the date for completion of removal be extended to June 30,1956;and further that the City will make, another study of the housing situation in June 1955 to establish whether the 1956 removal date is advisable and will notify the Public Housing Administration.
