RESOLUTION //JLs
WHEREAS, the Northern Pacific Railroad has petitioned
the Interstate Commerce Commission for permit to come into
Section 13 adjacent to the City of Moses Lake, and;
WHEREAS,the City Council have authorized the City
Attorney to intercede in the Interstate Commerce Commission
Hearing upon behalf of the City to assist the Northern Pac
ific Railroad in securing the granting of this permit, and;
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Moses Lake
feel that it would be to the best interest of the City and
that there is need for this additional rail service,and;
WHEREAS, the City Council desire that testimony and
evidence be given at this hearing on behalf of the city,
now therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor of Moses Lake
together with such other city officials as he shall deem
necessary may and are hereby requested to give testimony,
evidence and assistance as shall be required in the said
Interstate Commerce Commission Hearing.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor
