113^J.^J RESOLUTION NO,/iS> WHEREAS,the City of Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington,has grown from a population of 326 in 19i}.0 to 9053 in 1955*and WHEREAS,we are now served by local radio station KSEM and fringe TV reception of Channels l\.and 6 from Spokane,and WHEREAS,the continued growth and development of agriculture, industry and commerce in the Columbia Basin will require additional TV service in Moses Lake,and WHEREAS,the allocation of TV Channel 8 has been proposed to the FCC for Moses Lake; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON: That the FCC is hereby urged to approve the proposal and allocate TV Channel 8 for use of the Columbia Basin at Moses Lake.
