A RESOLUTION of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,
declaring the intention of the City Council to improve
certain streets,avenues,drives,and lanes within
the City by the construction and installation of
certain street improvements and by doing all work
necessary in connection therewith,and fixing a
time and date for the hearing thereon.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Moses
Lake,Washington,as follows:
Section 1.,That it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Moses Lake,Washington, to order construction
and installation of the following described improvements,to
gether with all work and appurtenances necessary in connection
therewith.
A. The following described streets and avenue
shall be improved by the construction and Installation
of bituminous pavement,concrete curbs and gutters and
storm drains:
Third Avenue from Elder Street to Fig Street.
Elder Street from Broadway Avenue to State Highway
No.18 and Wheeler Road.
Date Street from Broadway Avenue to Third Avenue.
Fig Street from Broadway Avenue to Third Avenue.
B. The following described drives and avenues shall
be improved by the construction and installation of
bituminous pavement,concrete curb and gutters, storm
drains,and concrete sidewalks:
Grand Drive from Lark Avenue to Hill Avenue.
Fairbanks Drive from Clover Drive to Cherry Avenue.
Evergreen Drive from Lark Avenue to Hill Avenue.
Dahlia Drive from Clover Drive to Hill Avenue.
Clover Drive from Fairbanks Drive to Dahlia Drive.

Lafck Avenue from Ironwood Drive to Dahlia Drive.
Cherry Avenue a«d 100!easterly of Hawthorne Drive
-to Evergreen Drive.
Hill,Avenue from Juniper Drive to Dahlia Drive.
C.The following described drives and lanes shall
be improved by the construction and installation of
concrete sidewalks:
The west side of Grand Drive from 120*south of
Terrace Avenue to Hawthorne Drive.
The east side of Canterbury Lane from 120\south
of Terrace Avenue to Hawthorne Drive.
The north side of Hawthorne Drive from Grand Drive
to Canterbury Lane.
Section 2.All persons who may desire to object thereto
are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a
meeting of the City Council to be held in the City Hall at Moses
Lake,Washington,at 8:00 p.m.,on the So day of JcV MET >
1955,which time and place is hereby fixed for hearing all matters
relating to said proposed improvements and all objections thereto
and for determining the method of payment of said improvements.
Section 3.Gray &Osborne,engineers for the City,are
hereby directed to submit to the Council at or prior to the date
fixed for such hearing,a statement of the estimated cost and
expense of such improvement,a statement of what portion of the
cost and expense should be borne by the property within the
proposed District, a statement in detail of the local improvement
assessments outstanding and unpaid against the property in the
proposed District and a statement of the aggregate actual valuation
of the real estate,including 25$of the actual valuation of the
improvements in the proposed District according to the valuation
last placed upon it for the purposes of general taxation together
with a diagram or print showing thereon the lots,tracts,parcels
of land and other property which will be specially benefited

by said improvements and the estimated amount of the cost and
expense of such improvements to be borne by each such lot, tract,
parcel of land or other property.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of said hearing by publication of this Resolution in at
least two consecutive issues of the official newspaper of the
City,with the date of the first publication to be at least
fifteen (15)days prior to the date of said hearing,and to mail
a notice of such hearing setting forth the nature of the proposed
improvements,the total estimated cost,including the amount
thereof proposed to be borne by the City, the estimated benefits
to the particular lot, tract or parcel of land, and the time and
date of said hearing,at least fifteen (15)days before the date
thereof to each owner or reputed owner of any lot, tract,parcel
of land or other property to be specially benefited by said
improvements, at the address shown on the tax rolls of the County
Treasurer,
PASSED by the Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,
and approved by its Mayor this 14th day of June,1955.
