WHEREAS,a recommendation for denial has been given by the
Examiner in the Petition of the Northern Pacific Railroad application
to come into Section 13 adjacent to the City of Moaes Lake,and :
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Moses Lake feel and believe
that it is extreemly important to the welfare of the city and to its
growth and development that additional and more adequate rail.service
be secured for the city, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Moses Lake desire that
all necessary action and intervention by and upon behalf of the city
should be taken to promote the granting of the Northern Pacific Railroad
application,now therefore;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Mayor of the city of Moses Lake,
Washington together with such other City Officials as he shall deem
necessary are hereby directed to take such action to intercede,promote ',
and give assistance as shall be prudent or necessary to secure the
granting of the petition of the Norther Racific Railroad to come into
Section 13 adjacent to the City of Moses Lake,Washington,
PASSES by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this mmmm
day of November, 1955.
