DLH KL 6-20-58 7n RESOLUTION NO./'// A RESOLUTION of the City of Moses Lake,Washington, declaring the intention of the City Council to improve certain streets and drives within the city by the construction and installation of curbs, gravel, pavement,sidewalks and side sewers and by doing all other work necessary in connection therewith and incidental thereto, and fixing a time and date for a hearing on this resolution. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,as follows: Section 1.That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake, Washington, to order the improvement of the following described streets and drives within the city by the construction and installation of the following described improve ments: A. By grading and constructing and installing curbs, gravel and asphaltic concrete pavement On Prom To Lark Street Ironwood Drive Kiefer Drive Juniper Drive Hill Street North boundary of Columbia Homes Addn. B.By grading and constructing and installing curbs, gravel,asphaltic concrete pavement and side sewers to the property lines On From To Skyline Drive Nelson Road So. line of the N.1/2 of the NW quarter of Sec.26,Twp.19, Range 28 E.W.M. C.By constructing and installing sidewalks ^rvr On From To p,North side—of^Svergreen Hill^traet Clover^iye 14>L"Drive • That it is the further intention of the City Council that all of the above-described improvements shall be constructed and in stalled with all work,appurtenances and facilities necessary in connection therewith and incidental thereto. Section 2.All persons who may desire to object thereto are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held at the City Hall at Moses Lake, Washington, at /f o'clock P.M. on the 22nd day of July, 1958.Such time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvements and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment of said improvements. Section 3*The City's engineer is hereby directed to submit to the Council at or prior to the date fixed for su hearing,a statement of the estimated cost and expense of such improvements,the statement of the proportionate amount thereof which should be borne by the property within the proposed assessment district,a statement in detail of the local improvement assessments outstanding and unpaid against the property in the proposed district and a statement of the aggregate actual valuation of the real estate including 25,'a of the actual valuation of the improvements in the proposed district according to the valuation last placed upon it for the purposes of general taxation,together with a diagram or print showing thereon the lots,tracts,parcels of land and other property which will be specially benefited by said improvements,and the estimated amount of the cost and expense of such improvements to be borne by each such lot,tract,parcel of land or other property within the proposed local improvement district. Section 4.The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notices of said hearing by publication of this resolution in at least two consecutive issues of the official City newspaper,the date of the first publication to be at least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing and to mail a notice of such hearing setting 2. — w forth the nature of the proposed improvements,the total estimated cost including the amount thereof proposed to be borne by the City, the estimated benefits to the particular lot,tract or parcel of land and the time and date of said hearing at least fifteen days before the date thereof to each owner or reputed owner of any lot, tract,parcel of land or other property to be specially benefited by said improvements at the address shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer. PASSED by the Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington, and approved by its Mayor at a regular meeting of said Council held this 2^th day of June,1958.
