RESOLUTION NO.207
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of
Moses Lake,Washington,declaring its intention
to improve Ash Street,Jefferson Street,Barbara
Street,Marigold Street,and certain other streets
and avenues,by grading,graveling,constructing
and installing storm drains,side lateral sewer connec
tions,curbs,and asphaltic concrete pavement,
Barbara Street,and Lakeside Drive,by constructing
and installing thereon an 8-inch lewer line, and
Crestview Drive,by grading,graveling,and in
stalling fire hydrants,storm drains, curbs, and
asphaltic concrete pavement,and to create a local
improvement district to assess the cost and expense
of each continuous unit of said improvement against
the properties within the local improvement district
specially benefited thereby;and notifying all persons
who may desire to object to said improvement to
appear and present their objections at a meeting of
the City Council to be held on April 12, 1960.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,as follows:
Section 1.That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake,Washington,to order the improvement of the
following-described streets and avenues in the City of Moses Lake,
Washington,and the construction and installation of a storm
drain line,to wit:

Ash Street from north boundary of Broadripple
Addition No.1 to Nelson Road
Ashcroft Place from Ash Street to end of
cul-de-sac
Ashley Way from Eastlake Drive to Ash Street.
Chuckie Lane from Ash Street to Division Street
Eastlake Drive from north boundary of Broad
ripple Addition No.1 to Nelson Road
North 1/2 of Nelson Road from Eastlake Drive
to Division Street
Vue Street from Eastlake Drive to end of cul-
de-sac
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing storm drainage,
side lateral sewer connections,curbs,and asphaltic concrete pavement;

Ash Street (both sides)from Chuckie Lane to
Nelson Road
Ashley Way (both sides)from Eastlake Drive to
Ash Street
Chuckie Lane (both sides) from Ash Street to
Division Street

by constructing sidewalks;and
(C)The storm drain line shall be constructed
and installed at the following location:
Beginning at the cul-de-sac of Ashcroft Place,
thence an 8" line westerly between Lots 39 and
40 of Broadripple Addition No. 1 to a manhole
in the alley,then an 8" line southerly to a
manhole at Ashley Wan,thence an 8"line westerly
to a manhole at Eastlake Drive,thence a 10"
line westerly between Lots 63 and 64 of Broad
ripple Addition No.1,and through the adjacent
property (SE 1/4 of SE 1/4,Section 22,Twp.
19 N., R 28 E., W. M.)to a manhole approx
imately 165 feet west of the west boundaryof
Broadripple Addition No.1,thence continuing
135'- westerly through SE 1/4 of SE 1/4,
Section 22,TWP 19 N., R.28 E.,W.M.to the
Ely Shore of Pelican Horn,
all of the above being one continuotUiS;unit of the improvement and
hereafter referred to as "Unit (1)."
(2)Jefferson Street from State Street to
Nelson Road
Nelson Road from Skyline Drive to Madison Street
State Street from Skyline Drive to Madison Street
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing storm drains,
side lateral sewer connections,sidewalks,curbs and asphaltic
concrete pavement,being one continuous unit of the improvement
and hereafter referred to as "Unit (2)."
(3)Barbara Street from Peninsula Drive to
Willow Street
Lakeside Drive from Sycamore Lane to Barbara
Street
Lakeside Drive from the south boundary of Wee
Acres Addition No. 2 to north boundary of
Giersdorf Addition
North 1/2 of Linnea Street from Peninsula Drive
to Willow Street
Willow Street from Barbara to Linnea Street
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing storm drains,
side lateral sewer connections,curbs,and asphaltic concrete pave
ment,being one continuous unit of the improvement and hereafter
referred to as "Unit (3)."

continuous unit of the improvement and hereafter referred to as

(5)Marigold Street from Peninsula Drive to
Lakeside Drive
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing drains,curbs,
and asphaltic concrete pavement, being one continuous unit of the
improvement and hereafter referred to as "Unit (5)."
(6)Lakeside Drive from south boundary of
Pleasant View Addition to South boundary of
Replat of Battery Orchards Tract No. 28
Winona Street from Peninsula Drive to Lakeside
Drive
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing storm drains,
side lateral sewer connections,curbs and asphaltic concrete
pavement,being one continuous unit of the improvement and here
after referred to as "Unit (6)."
(7)West 1/2 of Crestview Drive from Valley Road
to east boundary of Lot 3,Crestview estates
Addition No.1.
by grading,graveling,constructing and installing fire hydrants
with gate valves at various locations to conform to a 600 foot
maximum spacing,storm drains,curbs,and asphaltic concrete
pavement,being one continuous unit of the improvement and here
after referred to as "Unit (7)."
All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and
specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer's Office.
Section 2.That the entire cost and expense of said improvement'
shall be born by and assessed against the property specially
benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement
district to be established,embracing,as near as may be,all
property specially benefited by such improvement.
That the assessment rates shall be computed on the basis of the
cost and expense of each continuous unit of said improvement,as
above described.
Section 3.That all persons who may desire to object to the
improvements herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and
present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be

held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,Moses Lake,
Washington,at 8:00 o'clock P. M. on April 12, 1960,which time
and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to
said proposed improvement,and all objections thereto, and for
determining the method of payment for said improvement.
Section 4.The City Engineer's Office is hereby directed to
submit to the City Council on or prior to the 12th day of
April,1960,all data and information required by law to be
submitted.
The foregoing Resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake,Washington,at a regular meeting thereof
this 22 day of March,1960.
