246u u u RESOLUTION NO.246 WHEREAS,Grant County has obtained title through tax foreclosure proceedings to the following described property,to-wit: Tax No.442B less Street,Section 28,Township 19 North, Range 28 E.W.M.,described as follows,to-wit: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the NE i of the SE i of Section 28,Township 19 North,Range 28 E.W.M.;thence North 57°51,16"West 407.45 feet to an intersection with the Southeast line of Peninsula Drive,.extended;thence North 32°08'44" East along the Southeasterly boundary line of Peninsula Drive 370.72 feet;thence South 57°51'16" East 180 feet more or less to the East section line; thence South along the section line to the point of beginning,within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake,and WHEREAS,said property is subject to Local Improvement District #7 assessments in the amount of $2811.71,exclusive of penalties,and WHEREAS,pursuant to R.C.W.35.49.150,the City of Moses Lake may acquire said property from Grant County at any time before resale and receive a deed therefore upon paying the face amount of taxes and costs without penalty or interest,and WHEREAS,in order to protect the outstanding Local Improvement District assessments against said property,it is for the best interest of the City of Moses Lake to acquire the above described property from Grant County. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:That the City of Moses Lake is authorized to make application to the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County for the purchase of the above described real estate by paying the face amount of the delinquent taxes and cost as provided by R.C.W.35.49.150.
