A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL
ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate
or any interest therein to the City of Moses Lake shall not be accepted
until a Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City
Council,and
WHEREAS,MAIDA MARTIN has presented a Quit Claim Deed granting
real estate to the City of Moses Lake,confirming the transfer of title
to real estate which now stands in the name of Grant County,pursuant
to tax foreclosure proceedings,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:That the Quit Claim Deed dated
January 23,1962,more particularly described as follows,is hereby
accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
"Tax No.442B less Street,Section 28,Township 19 North,
Range 28 E.W.M.,described as follows,to-wit:
"Commencing at the Southeast corner of the NE i SE i of
Section 28,Township 19 North,Range 28 E.W.M.;thence
North 57051'16"West 407.45 feet to an intersection with
the Southeast line of Peninsula Drive,extended;thence
North 32°08,44"East along the Southeasterly boundary line
of Peninsula Drive 370.72 feet;thence South 57°51'16"East
180 feet more or less to the East section line;thence South
along the section line to the point of beginning,with^the
corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake."
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 23rd day
of January,1962.
