A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL
ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate or
any interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted
until a Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City
Council,and
WHEREAS,Oral A.Guffin and Hazel B.Guffin,husband and wife,have
presented a Quit Claim Deed conveying property to the City of Moses
Lake,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Quit Claim Deed dated February 16,1962,for the following des
cribed property is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
That portion of Tract 1 of Burress Tract No.2,as per plat
recorded in Volume 2 of Plats,page 113,records of Grant
County,Washington,described as follows:
Beginning at the most Southerly corner of said Tract,thence
North 53°41'20"East,along the Northwesterly line of Sixth
Avenue,a distance of 49 feet;thence North 36o18'40"West
to the West line of said Tract 1;thence South 00°15'30"
West,along said West line,to the point of beginning.
SUBJECT TO:Easements,restrictions and reservations of
record or in apparent use at the date hereof and building and
zoning regulations,if any.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 27th day
of February,1962.
