276RESOLUTION NO.276 WHEREAS,the Department of Highways of the State of Washington has budgeted and allocated funds for the installation of a revised traffic signal and channelization curbing at the intersection of Alder Street and Secondary State Highway 7-E within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake,with financial participation by the City of Moses Lake,and WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Moses Lake, after further study,has now determined that the aforesaid project should be deferred,and WHEREAS,it is the opinion of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake that the improvement of Secondary State Highway 7-E within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake from Holly Street to Locust Lane by four-lane paving,curbing and instal lation of sidewalks,should be commenced at the earliest opportunity; NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,that the City Council of the City of Moses Lake does hereby request that the funds budgeted and allocated by the Department of Highways of the State of Washington for the installation of a revised traffic signal and channelization curbing at the intersection of Alder Street and Secondary State Highway 7-E within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake be transferred to,and used for the improvement of Secondary State Highway 7-E within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake from Holly Street to Locust Lane by four-lane paving,curbing and installation of sidewalks. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Moses Lake does agree to participate financially in the improvement of Secondary State Highway 7-E within the corporate limits of the City of Moses Lake frm Holly Street to Locust Lane.
