A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF
REAL PROPERTY TO MOSES LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT
No.161
WHEREAS,the City of Moses Lake has agreed to convey a
portion of right of way for Sharon Avenue extension as hereinafter
described to Moses Lake School District No.161 for the purpose of
enabling Moses Lake School District No.161 to participate in the
improvement and extension of Sharon Avenue,and
WHEREAS,upon completion of the street improvements,Moses
Lake School District No.161 has agreed to grant to the City of Moses
Lake a perpetual easement for public roadway purposes;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:That the City Manager
and City Clerk are authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to
Moses Lake School District No.161,conveying the following described
real estate situated in the City of Moses Lake,County of Grant,State
of Washington:
Commencing at the center of Section 26,T.19 N.
R.28 EWM;thence N 0°23,13M E a distance of
1332.87 feet;thence S 89°37,49M E a distance of
774.38 feet to the true point of beginning;thence
S 89°37'49M E a distance of 346.50 feet;thence
S 07°53'15"E a distance of 30.31 feet;thence
N 89037'49"W a distance of 350.86 feet;thence
N 0o23'13n E a distance of 30.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor
this 27th day of August,1963 .
