320RESOLUTION No.320 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING LOCAL IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENT DEED FROM THE CITY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate or any interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City Council,and WHEREAS,at a public sale of real property held on the 5th day of January,1962,pursuant to a real property local improvement assessment judgment entered in the Superior Court of the County of Grant on the 15th day of September,1961 in proceedings to foreclose local improvement assessment liens on real property,the City of Moses Lake duly purchased, in compliance with the laws of the State of Washington,the real property more particularly described in a copy of local improvement assessment deed hereto attached and WHEREAS pursuant to said foreclosure proceedings the City of Moses Lake is now entitled to a deed to said real property and WHEREAS said real property herein referred to is subject to general taxes levied by Grant County which are past due and unpaid and should be paid to protect the proparty from foreclosure and delinquent taxes NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:That the local improvement assessment deed dated the 3rd day of March ,1964 between Evelyn V.Vehrs as Treasurer of the City of Moses Lake,Grant County,Washington,Party of the First Part , and the City of Moses Lake,Party of the Second Part,conveying the real estate more particularly described in a copy of said deed hereto attached, is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to record the original of the said local improvement assessment deed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:That the City Treasurer of the City of Moses _ Resolution No.320 (Continued) is authorized and directed to pay the face amount of the general taxes and costs heretofore levied against said real property herein conveyed as provided by RCW 35.49.]40.
