RESOLUTION No.321
WHEREAS Grant County has obtained title through tax foreclosure
proceedings to the following described property,to-wit:
Tax No.3744 out of Tax No.3248 in the
Southeast Quarter (SE i)of the Southeast
Quarter (SE i)of Section 21,Township 19,
Range1 28 EWM beginning at the Southeast
(SE)corner of Section 21,Township 19,Range
28 EWM,thence 1214.68'North 00o33'30"East
along the East line of said Section 21;thence
27.96'South 46°13'10"West to the true point
of beginning;thence 80'more or less North
00°33'30"East to the point on the shoreline of
Moses Lake,which point shall be known as
Point "A"for the purpose of this description,
beginning again at the true point of beginning;
thence 21.61'South 46°13'10"West;thence
70'more or less North 43°46'50"West to the
shoreline of Moses Lake;thence 80'more or
less Northeasterly along said shoreline to the
above described Point "A"
WHEREAS said property is subject to Local Improvement District No.6
assessments in the amount of $230.21,exclusive of penalties,and
WHEREAS pursuant to RCW 35.49.150,the City of Moses Lake may
acquire said property from Grant County at any time before resale and
receive a deed therefore upon paying the face amount of taxes and costs
without penalty or interest,and
WHEREAS in order to protect the outstanding Local Improvement District
assessments against said property,it is for the best interest of the City
of Moses Lake to acquire the above described property from Grant County,
NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED:That the City of Moses Lake is authorized to make
application to the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County
for the purchase of the above described real estate by paying the face
amount of the delinquent taxes and costs as provided by RCW 35 .49.150.
