WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate or any
interest therein to the City of Moses Lake shall not be accepted until a
Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City Council,and
WHEREAS, ERIC D.PETERSON and CATHERINE PETERSON,husband and wife,have
presented a Quit Claim Deed conveying property to the City of Moses Lake,
NOW,THEREFORE:BE IT RESOLVED that the Quit Claim Deed for the
following described property is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake;
That portion of Government Lot Six (6)in Section 22,
Township 19 North,Range 28 EWM,Grant County,
Washington,described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Southeasterly line of
Secondary State Highway No.7-E and the Southeasterly line
of Third Avenue as conveyed to the City of Moses Lake
by Dedication Deed (filed November 27,1950)Auditor's
File No.165243,records of Grant County;thence South
23°38'W along the Southeasterly line of said Secondary
State Highway No.7-E a distance of 425 .00 feet to the
true point of beginning;thence continuing South 23°38*W
a distance of 60.00 feet;thence South 66°22'E a distance of
180.00 feet;thence North 23°38'E a distance of 60.00 feet;
thence North 66°22'W a distance of 180.00 feet to the true
point of beginning.
Said lproperty to be dedicated for public street uses.
PASSED by the CITY COUNCIL and APPROVED by the Mayor this 27th day of
October,1964.
