363RESOLUTION 363 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE STRATFORD ROAD FROM THE INTERSECTION OF STRATFORD ROAD AND VALLEY ROAD TO A POINT 1371.68 FEET NORTH OF SUCH INTERSECTION BY GRADING,GRAVELLING,CON STRUCTING AND INSTALLING SOTRM DRAINAGE,CURBS, SIDEWALKS AND ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS A PART OF THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS AGAINST PROPERTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY;AND NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON JULY 13,1965 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake to order,pursuant to contract with the Washington State Highway Commission, Department of Highways,the improvement of Stratford road from the inter section of Stratford Road and Valley Road to a point 1371.68 feet North of such intersection by grading,gravelling,constructing and installing storm drainage,curbs,sidewalks and asphalt concrete pavement.All of the fore going shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the Washington State Highway Commission,Department of Highways. Section 2. That not to exceed 40%of the cost and expense of said improvements shall be borne and assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district tro be established embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improve ment and the balance of the cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by the City of Moses Lake. Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object to the improvements herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,Moses Lake, Washington,at 8 o'clock PM (PDST)on July 13,1965,which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement, and all objections thereto,and for determining the method of payment for said improvement. Section 4. Pat Nevins,Public Works Director,is hereby directed to submitto the City Council on or prior to the 13th day of July,1965,all data and information required by law to be submitted. The foregoing Resolution was adopted by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake, Washington,at a resular meeting thereof this 8th dayof Jujie,1965.
