RESOLUTION No.396
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City
of Moses Lake declaring its intention to improve
Wheeler Road from the intersection of Pioneer Way
to State Highway 11G by grading,graveling,con
structing and installing storm drainage,curbs and
gutters,sidewalks,retaining wall and asphaltic
concrete pavement and traffic signals and to create
a local improvement district to assess a part of the
cost and expense of said improvements against
properties in such District specially benefited
thereby;and notifying all persons who may object
to said improvement to appear and present their
objections at a meeting of the City Council to be
held on July 5 ,1966
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,
WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.That it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake to order the improvement of Wheeler Road from the
intersection of Pioneer Way to State Highway 11G by grading,graveling,
constructing and installing storm drainage,curbs and gutters,sidewalks,
retaining wall and asphaltic concrete pavement and traffic signals.All
of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor prepared by K.Patrick Nevins,Public Works Director of the
City of Moses Lake,Washington.
Section 2 .That the entire cost and expense of constructing and
installing the retaining wall,storm drainage and excess ballasting material
required shall be paid by the City of Moses Lake.That not to exceed 40%
of the cost and expense of constructing and installing the remainder of said
improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially
benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement
district to be established embracing as near as may be all property specially
benefited by such improvement and the balance of the cost and expense
of said remainder of the improvement shall be borne by the City of Moses
Lake.

Section 3 .That all persons who may desire to object to the
improvements herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present
such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall,Moses Lake,Washington,at 8 o'clock PM (PDST)
on July 5,1966,which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters
relating to said proposed improvement,and all objections thereto,and for
determining the method of payment for said improvement.
Section 4.K.Patrick Nevins,Public Works Director,is hereby
directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to the 5th day of July,
1966,all data and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council of the
City of Moses Lake,Washington,at a regular meeting thereof this 14th
day of June,1966.
