WHEREAS,the City of Moses Lake's Fire Department,effective May 1,1967,
has contracted with the Hospital District to provide ambulance service,and
WHEREAS,in order to provide radio monitoring capabilities between the Police
and Fire Departments essential to the ambulance service it is necessary to
expend $176.00 to install an extension of the Fire Department's radio receiving
and transmitting station to a location within the Police Department,and
WHEREAS,in order to automatically record incoming messages pertaining to fire
and ambulance calls to conform with the Municipal Fire Alarm System as prescribed
by the National Fire Protection Association,it is necessary to expend $324.00 to
install an automatic telephone tape recorder for receiving emergency messages,and
WHEREAS,the addition of the ambulance service and the need to upgrade the re
cording of emergency messages was not forseen at the time of adopting the 1967
budget,and
WHEREAS,there will be an excess appropriation within the Administrative Depart
ment Capital Outlay Classification of the General Fund,NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED:That the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00)Dollars be transferred
as follows:
