RESOLUTION No.455
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE
TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,FOR PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS,Resolution 238 provides that all grants of real estate or any interest
therein to the City of Moses Lake shall not be accepted until a Resolution of
Acceptance has been duly passed by the City Council,and
WHEREAS,Moses Lake School District No.161 has presented an easement
for street purposes over and across the following described tracts of land
situated in the County of Grant,State of Washington,and
WHEREAS,in consideration of this Easement,the City of Moses Lake agrees to
construct at no expense to the Moses Lake School District No.161,street im
provements upon the lands covered by the below described Easement.After
construction of said street improvements,the Moses Lake School District No.161
agrees to maintain at no expense to the City of Moses Lake the street improvements
located upon Tract 2 as described;it is understood that the City of Mses Lake
shall be obligated to maintain the street improvements upon Tract 1 as described,
NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED:That the Easement for the following described property is hereby
accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
TRACT 1.
A60 foot street dedication lying in the Northeast Quarter (NEi)
of Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 EWM.,being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the center of Section 26,Township 19 North,Range 28 EWM.,
thence North 00o23'13"East 1332.87 feet to the center of Monroe Street
and Sharon Avenue;thence South 89037'49"East 1531.12 feet along the
center line of Sharon Avenue;thence continuing along the center line of
Sharon Avenue around a 19.10°curve to the left 205 .56 feet;thence
North 51°06'40"West 247.99 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence North 38°53'20"West 30.00 feet;thence North 51o06'40"East
52.82 feet;thence South ;38°53'20"East 60.00 feet;thence South
51o06'40"West 52.82 feet;thence North 38°53,20"West 30.00 feet
to the true point of beginning.
