FIXING A TIME FOR HEARING ON A PETITION FOR STREET
VACATION
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Moses Lake has received a
Petition to vacate a public street in Vista Village Addition to the City of
Moses Lake hereinafter described,and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to fix a time for hearing on the advisability of
vacating the street hereinafter described,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:That a Public Hearing will be held on the
25th day of June,1968 at the hour of 8 o'clock PM in the City Hall for the
purpose of determining the advisability of vacating a public street in Vista
Village Addition to the City of Moses Lake described as follows:
"Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 3,Block K of
the Vista Village Addition,Moses Lake,Grant County,
Washington,as recorded in Volume 6,page 34,of the
Grant County records;thence North 89°52'08"West
30.00 feet;thence North 0°10'05"East 873.60 feet;
thence North 89°56'02"East 30.00 feet.Thence South
0°10,05"West 873.69 feet to the true point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom a strip of land in the above described
tract which has its beginning point at the Southwest corner
of Lot 12,Block H of the Vista Village Addition,Moses Lake,
Grant County,Washington,as recorded in Volume 6,page 34,
of the Grant County records.Thence South 0o10'05"West
60 feet.Thence South 89°56,42"West 30 feet.Thence
North 0°10'05"East 60 feet.Thence North 89°56'42"East
30 feet to the true point of beginning,the above description
being that portion of Village Avenue which extends across
the proposed vacation."
Reserving unto the City of Moses Lake the Easterly 10 feet thereof
for a public utility easement.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 28th day of
May,1968.
