RESOLUTION No.460
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE OF
REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE FROM
THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ACTING BY AND
THROUGH THE ADMINISTRATOR OF GENERAL SERVICES
WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate or any
interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a
Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City Council,and
WHEREAS,the United States of America,acting by and through the Administrator
of General Services,has presented a Quit-Claim Deed conveying property to the
City of Moses Lake,NOW,THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED:That the Quit-Claim Deed dated May 31,1968 for the following
described property is hereby accepted by the City of Moses Lake:
That portion of Larson Air Force Base located in Sections
22 and 27,Township 20 North,Range 28 East,Willamette
Meridian described as follows:
Beginning at a point 7972 .31 feet North and 1643 .38 feet
East of the Southeast corner of Section 33 of said Township
and Range (whose Washington State Grid South Zone co
ordinates are Y =674,047 .08,X^2298909.20 and are
referred to the U.S.C.&.G.S.station "SPAD"whose
Washington State Grid South Zone coordinates are
Y*676,911.66,X-=2288625 .74),said point being the
intersection of County roads known as Randolph Drive
and Tyndall Road;thence N17°17,10u East along the
center line of said Randolph Drive 1350.00 feet to the
true point of beginning;thence North 89028'11"East
1630.00 feet;thence North 0°31'49"West approximately
1360 feet more or less to the Section line of said Section 27;
thence continuing North 0°3r49"West 100 feet into said
Section 22;thence South 89°28,11M West 1210 feet more
or less to the centerline of Randolph Drive;thence South
17°17'10"West 1500 feet more or less to the true point
of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West thirty (30)feet for
County road right-of-way.
TOGETHER WITH the improvements thereon.
SUBJECT TO:existing easements for public roads and
highways,public utilities,railroads and pipelines
and to other easements of record.
