484RESOLUTION No.484 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE THE ALLEY PARALLEL TO AND NORTHWEST OF BROAD WAY AVENUE FROM ALDER STREET TO ASH STREET BY GRADING,GRAVELING,CONSTRUCTING AND INSTALLING STORM DRAINAGE,CURBS,SIDEWALKS AND ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVE MENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENTS AGAINST PROPERTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT ESPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY;AND NOTIFY ING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON JUNE 10,1969 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE, WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1.That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Moses Lake to order the improvement of the alley parallel to and Northwest of Broadway Avenue from Alder Street to Ash Street by grading,graveling, constructing and installing storm drainage,curbs and gutters and asphaltic concrete pavement.All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefore prepared under the direction of Pat Nevins,Public Works Director of the City of Moses Lake. Section 2 .That the entire cost and expense of said improvements shall be borne and assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement,specifically exempting the Chicago,Milwaukee,St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Company from any cost or expense of the im provement . Section 3 .That all persons who may desire to object to the improvements herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,Moses Lake,Washington,at 8 o'clock PM on June 10,1969 which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement,and all objections thereto,and for deter mining the method of payment for said improvement. Section 4.Pat Nevins,Public Works Director of the City of Moses Lake,is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to the 10th day of June,1969,all data and information required by law to be submitted. The foregoing Resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Moses Lake,Washington,at a regular meeting thereof this 13th day of May,1969.
