A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE CONVEYANCE
OF REAL ESTATE TO THE CITY OF MOSES LAKE
FROM GRANT COUNTY,STATE OF WASHINGTON
WHEREAS,Resolution No.238 provides that all grants of real estate or any
interest therein to the City of Moses Lake,shall not be accepted until a
Resolution of Acceptance has been duly passed by the City Council,and
WHEREAS,the Grant County Treasurer has presented a Quit-Claim Deed
conveying property to the City of Moses Lake,
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED:That the Quit-Claim Deed dated June 20,
1969 for the following described property is hereby accepted by the City of
Moses Lake:
Beginning at a monument which is 20'North 57°5ri6"West
of the most Westerly Corner of Tract 18,Battery Orchard
Tracts located in Section 27,Township 19 North,Range 28
East W.M.,thence 823 feet North 32°08'44"East along
the center line of Peninsula Drive to the true point of be
ginning;thence continuing North 32°08'44"East 72.41 feet;
thence 273.83 feet along the Chicago,Milwaukee,St.Paul
and Pacific Railroad's Southerly right of way line which is on
a 6°curve with a radius of 905.37 feet.Said distance on
the curve has a long chord of 272 .61 feet and a bearing of
South 74 degrees 23'16"East,thence South 16o02'44"West
a distance of 156.11 feet to the Northeasterly line of Tax
No.1782;thence North 57°51'16"West a distance of 304.63
feet to the true point of beginning.
TOGETHER WITH any improvements thereon.
SUBJECT TO:existing easements for public roads and highways,
public utilities,railroads,and pipelines and to other easements
of record.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 8th day of July,
1969.
