A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 1969 BUDGET FOR THE
SANITATION DIVISION
WHEREAS,the rate increase for garbage collection adopted in 1968 has
created an increase in revenue over that anticipated for the 1969 Budget,and
WHEREAS,under the Contract the City is required to pay seventy percent
(70%)of the revenue created by billings for garbage collection to the Contractor,
and
WHEREAS,the amount budgeted for payment to the Contractor is insufficient
to meet the requirement,
NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Moses Lake that the 1969 Budget for the Sanitation Department be increased
as follows:
REVENUE
8670 Sanitary Fill and Special Charges $14,000
EXPENDITURES
817 122 Garbage Service $14,000
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by its Mayor this 25th day of
November,1969.
