A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE TOWN CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
DEED TO THE REA£ESTATE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED AND SETTING FORTH
THE REASONS THEREFORE.
WHEREAS,the Town of Moses Lake heretobefore as Grantees
received by deed a one-acre tract which was part of the following
described real estate situated in the State of Washington,County
of Grant,for a reservoir site,described as follows!
Commencing at the East corner of Block 18 of the plat of Neppel
(now Moses Lake,Washington)which is the intersection of Birch
and Fifth Street,running South 36°19«06"East a distance of
sixty (60)feet;thence running North 53°40«54M East a distance
of three hundred eighty (380)feet along the South line of Fifth
Street;thence running South 36°19f 06,f East a distance of seven
hundred ninety (790)feet to the place of beginning marked 2 on
the map;thence running Northeasterly to a point one hundred
sixty-five (165)feet South 36°19f 06"East of the intersection
of the f%ir grounds and the County Road (Wheeler Road);thence
North 36 19*06"West a distance of one hundred twenty-five (125)
feet;thence running North 53°40'54"East a distance of forty
(40)feet;thence running North 36°19«06"West until it strikes
the South line of the County Road (Wheeler Road);thence running
along the South line of the County Road until it comes to the
Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of Section 23,Township
19:.North,Range 28; thence following the East line of said quarter
until it comes to the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 23,Township 19 North,Range 28;
thence East a distance of six hundred and sixty (660)feet;thence
South to the line of the Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
of Section 23,Township 19 North,Range 28;thence following the
line West until it comes to the East line of the County Road
(McDonald Road);(thence back to the place of beginning marked 2
on the map),following a line South 36°19*06"East a distance

The foregoing description of Real Estate now owned by EDWARD D.
HULL and GLADYS M.HULL,his wife,includes the one-acre tract
which heretobefore was deeded to the Town of Moses Lake,which
deed has been mislaid*
WHEREAS,the Town of Moses Lake has mislaid said deed
for the one-acre reservoir site and is unable to ascertain which
one-acre in the hereinbefore described acreage was deeded.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF MOSES LAKE,WASHINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
1.That,the Mayor and Town Clerk of the Town of Moses
Lake,Washington,is hereby'authorized and directed to execute
a valid quit Claim Deed to the present legal owners of the real
estate hereinbefore described,EDWARD D.HULL and GLADYS M.HULL,
his wife.
2. That, B. J. McLEAN, City Attorney for the Town of
Moses Lake, is hereby authorized and directed,upon the Mayor
and the Town Clerk executing said Quit Claim Deed hereinbefore
referred to,to deliver said deed to the Grantees upon the Grantees
of said deed exeouting and delivering to the Town of Moses Lake a
valid Quit Claim Deed to the following described real estate
situated in the County of Grant,State of Washington:
Starting at the intersection of Olive Avenue and
Juniper Drive;thence Southwesterly along the
center line of Juniper Drive a distance of forty
(40)feet;thence Northwesterly parallel to the
center line of Olive Avenue a distance of thirty
(30)feet to the true point of beginning.
Beginning at the true point of beginning,thence
Southwesterly parallel to and thirty (30)feet
distant from the center line of Juniper Drive a
distance of two hundred thirty (230)feet;thence
Northwesterly parallel to the center line of Olive
Avenue a distance of one hundred fifty (150)feet;
thence Northeasterly parallel to the center line
of Juniper Drive a distance of two hundred forty
(240)feet:thence Southeasterly parallel to and
thirty (30)feet distant from the center line of
Olive Avenue a distance of one hundred forty (140)

radius curve a distance of 15.708 feet,more or
less, to the true point of beginning,which is
a part of Lot 16,Block 1 of Lakeview Terrace
Unit No.1 Addition to Moses Lake,containing
0.82 acres,more or less.
The above description recited herein, conveyed to the Town of Moses
Lake by Quit Claim Deed is the present reservoir site and the real
estate upon which the town reservoir is now located.
