39RESOLUTION #3^
A resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Moses Lake,7/ashington,
providing for the number of taxi-cabs to be licensed in the Town of
Moses Lake, Washington, and setting forth the reasons therefore.
WHEREAS,The Town Qouncil of the Town of Moses Lake on the
27th day of April,1948,pas-ed Ordinance f 108,which is an
Ordinance licensing and regulsting taxi-cabs,and said Ordinance
was published as required by law in the Columbia Basin Herald on
the 30th day of April, 1948 .
WHEREASf said Ordinance No.108 provides that the number
of taxi-cabs liaenses which may be issued and outstanding at any
one time may be limited by such number as the Town Council may,
by Resolution, increase or decrease s?id number at such time
or times as it shall flind and determine that public convenience
and necessity require the operation of a greaaer or lesser number
of taxi-cebs provided that the number may not be reduced so as
work a forfeiture of outstanding licenses or prevent the renewal
thereof.
u NOW THEREEOREBE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
Town of Moses Lake as follows;
"ttat the number of licenses which may be issued by the
Town of Moses Lake is three (3)licenses,and that the Town Council
has found and dertermined that public conveinence and necessity
only requires the operation of three (3)taxi-cc^bs within the
Town of M^ses Lake.
It being being clearly understood that the number
of taxi-cpbs allowed by this Resolution shall not work as a
forfeiture to any outstanding licenses or prevent the renewal
thereof.
