4005 Lakemont ImprovementsRESOLUTION NO. 4005 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS FOR MUNICIPAL USE AS PART OF LAKEMONT PLANNED DEVELOPMENT MAJOR PLAT Recitals: 1. Street and Utility improvements lying in dedicated right-of-way or easements are in place and connected to the City of Moses Lake’s Street and Utility Systems as part of the Lakemont Planned Development Major Plat. The project includes full width street improvements including water, sewer, and storm water improvements to Eastlake Drive approximately 40’ +/- south of S. Bailey Ave. to S. Division St., S. Beaumont Dr. approximately 40’ +/- east of the intersection of S. Lakeway Dr, east to Eastlake Dr., S. James St. from Broad Ripple #3 Plat south to S. Beaumont Dr., S. Bailey Ave. from Broad Ripple #3 Plat south to S. Beaumont Dr., and West Burke Dr. from S. Beaumont Dr. east approximately 300’ +/- terminating in a cul-de-sac. 2. Said street and utility improvements have been installed in accordance with the City of Moses Lake’s Community Standards and were completed in February 2025. 3. RCW 35.90.030, indicates that developer installed public street and utility facilities should be accepted by the City of Moses Lake upon completion if the facilities are built to city standards. 4. A Subdivision Maintenance Bond shall be provided by the developer for a two-year maintenance period which commences on February 14, 2025. Resolved: 1. The City Council of the City of Moses Lake accepts the Lakemont Planned Development street and utility improvements as facilities of the City of Moses Lake and as such will charge for use of facilities as authorized by ordinance. 2. After February 14, 2025, all operational costs of the said street and utility improvements shall be borne by the City of Moses Lake as provided by city ordinance and subject to the required maintenance bond. 3. Subject to final inspection after February 25, 2027, all further maintenance and operational costs of said street and utility improvements shall be borne by the City of Moses Lake as provided by city ordinance.
